Scooter from Louisiana

Scooter came to us from our Rescue Partner in Louisiana. He was the City Animal Shelter’s longest resident! With so many stray, homeless cats in rural areas of the south, he did not have a great chance of getting adopted where he was. He, with ten other cats and kittens, caught a ride on our regular transport and is safe in our care. He is available and ready to find a home.

Our team works hard to rescue animals at risk of euthanasia simply because they do not have a home in rural parts of our country. We are so grateful for the role you play in supporting our mission.

Thank you for supporting Wright-Way Rescue through your donations, fostering, volunteering or sharing our message.

Willow from Mississippi

Little Willow and her sister were surrendered to a rural animal control in Mississippi during last month's frigid weather. Our rescue partner, the County Humane Society, pulled them out as quickly as possible and placed them in one of their foster homes. Willow’s sister was adopted there, but Willow was left behind. She is in our care now and is in Morton Grove waiting for her family to find her.

Saffron and Sybil

Saffron and Sybil came to us from DeSoto Parish in Louisiana after our Rescue Partner pulled them from the local animal control facility. We don’t have any information about how they got there, but like most animals in overcrowded animal controls, their future was very uncertain.

Marigold and Puppies

Marigold was alone and very pregnant when she was taken to the overcrowded County Animal Control in Texas. Our local partner pulled her and she was able to have her babies in a loving foster home. As soon as the little family was ready to be transported, they were put on our transport bus and came north to find their homes. Azalea, Chrysanthemum, Daffodil, Hydrangea, Iris, Sunflower, and Zinnia are all available for adoption.

Small puppies abandoned in Southern IL.

These little ones were found at a 3 way stop in Energy, Illinois near an elementary school. They had been crammed into a crate and dumped in the middle of the road. They were immediately brought to our Admissions and Medical Campus in Murphysboro, Illinois to be kept safe and get ready to find their homes.
