Fostering FAQ
WHAT IS FOSTERING?
The Wright-Way Rescue foster program gives care and treatment to pets that are not quite ready for adoption. This can range from underweight dogs or cats, to dogs undergoing heartworm treatment, all the way to caring for a mom and her litter of puppies or kittens.
WHO CAN FOSTER PETS FOR WRIGHT-WAY RESCUE?
We do our best to set each foster parent up for success with his or her individual circumstance. Even if you don't have fostering experience, our Foster Coordinator provides training and support for all foster parents.
WHAT IF I ONLY WANT TO FOSTER ONE TYPE/AGE OF PET?
We will work with you to find out what you're comfortable with. We work with your preferences and experience to find the right fit.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE BRING THE PETS BACK?
Once the pets are back at Wright-Way Rescue, they will be adopted into a loving family! Many of our pets in foster care will be eligible to have families place reservations to meet them. Wright-Way Rescue is a no-kill rescue, so all pets will be with us until they find their forever home.
