Quail and Quest

Quail and Quest were found dumped along a rural road outside of Greenwood, Mississippi during the Arctic freeze in early January. They are super friendly pups and were very happy to have been found and taken in by our Rescue Partner in the area. Rural country roads are a common spot for people to get rid of puppies they could either not sell or find homes for.

You can help us rescue homeless pets who find themselves in impossible situations throughout our country. Your support sends a message of hope and encouragement to those advocating to change the way homeless pets are treated in their communities that Wright-Way Rescue works tirelessly to assist.

Little pups taken from Animal Control in Louisiana

These little girls were picked up in Bossier City, Louisiana when they were found wandering without their humans. They were turned into the city’s-open intake Animal Control but no one came for them. Anytime an animal is turned into an open-intake facility, their time is very limited.

These shelters have to take in all animals brought to them whether they are owner surrenders, strays, or confiscations from owners. Once they reach capacity, they have to euthanize animals already there to make room for others that are brought in, often on a daily basis. Fortunately, our Rescue Partner got them out in time and they are safe in our care.

Please support Wright-Way and let's make a difference for homeless pets that are waiting for our help throughout Illinois and Rural America.

Stolen momma dog, and puppies surrendered to our rescue

The momma of these cuties was stolen from her home by the owner’s ex boyfriend. When she was finally found and returned to her home, she was pregnant. The puppies were surrendered to our Rescue Partner in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Their mom is staying with her owner and is being spayed at an upcoming clinic in their area. They are one of our “A” litter of puppies (Asiago, Avery, Amelia, Adobe, Andy, Aiden, and Archie).

It is not uncommon that owners want to keep the momma dogs. In those cases, Wright-Way Rescue offers a free spay as part of our No Mom Left Behind Program at our community vet clinics. In cases where they are too far away, we work with our rescue partners to find local options.

Holly and Tilly, found abandoned in Arkansas

Holly and Tilly were found as strays in Marion County, Arkansas. They were barely two months old and had been abandoned by their owners. When we were asked to take them into our Adoption Program, we could not resist those adorable faces. They are currently safe in our care, waiting for their forever families to find them.

Our team works hard to rescue animals at risk of euthanasia simply because they do not have a home in rural parts of our country. We are so grateful for the role you play in supporting our mission. Thank you for contributing to Wright-Way Rescue through your donations, fostering, volunteering, or sharing our message.

Ford and Freya from Arkansas

Ford and Freya were found dumped in a rural cemetery near Ash Flat, Arkansas. They were very thin and wormy but happy, playful puppies. The overwhelming number of unwanted animals and the lack of resources in these rural areas puts puppies like them in serious danger. Luckily, they were found and are safely with us waiting for their forever homes.

Our team works hard to rescue animals at risk of euthanasia simply because they do not have a home in rural parts of our country.
