Daphne and her pups

Unfortunately, Daphne’s story is not an uncommon one. She was a pregnant stray in a rural community with nowhere to turn. When she went into labor, she found a garage and delivered her seven puppies in the safest place she could find.

The homeowners were so upset when they discovered the little family that the husband threatened to shoot them all if they were not immediately removed from his property.

Wright-Way Rescue responded as soon as they heard of Daphne’s desperate situation. With the help of our Rescue Partner, we brought her and her puppies to our Admissions & Medical Services Campus.

Daphne and her puppies will be ready for homes soon and reservations are now being accepted. Our amazing supporters make this work possible. 🐾

Xandy's story

Xandy and her littermate were found abandoned on the side of the road in rural Harrisburg, IL with their momma dog. They were rescued by a kind truck driver in the area who loves dogs. The driver decided to keep and spay their momma and brought the puppies to Wright-Way Rescue to find homes. Xandy is still searching for her home and family.

Xandy is fully vaccinated (5 rounds of puppy shots, bordetella, and rabies) and has been spayed and microchipped.

Thanks to our amazing Wright-Way Rescue supporters, we are able to continue taking animals into our rescue and ensure that pet’s like Xandy are not left homeless or uncared for. 🐾

Micah’s life was saved by his foster family!

Micah’s life was saved by his foster family! They recently sent us this message.

“Foster fail update: just about 3 years ago for thanksgiving we took this sweet boy in and I think everyone around us knew he wasn’t going anywhere! Micah, who goes by Mikey now had his first professional groom today! We’ve groomed him ourselves thus far because it has taken some time for him to trust humans and I wanted him to enjoy being pampered.

It’s amazing to see him thriving knowing the terrified and neglected version of him that came home that first night.

Thank you to everyone who opens their home to fosters. Of course, they can’t all be fails but they’re all successes in the end because with the love and patience we give them even if just for a few weeks, they eventually get to live the life they all truly deserve.”

Three siblings, dumped on a back country road, and left near death

These three puppies, found at just 7 weeks old, were left severely dehydrated, starved, and full of parasites in rural Arkansas. But thanks to the kind Samaritans who found them and our rescue partners, these pups are now healthy and ready for their most wonderful homes. These puppies are now 12-weeks old and full of life.

Thank you for enabling us to save more lives at Wright-Way Rescue!🐾

Quade and Quatro

Quade and Quantro were found very hungry and scared underneath a home-owner’s porch in Arkansas. A good Samaritan in the neighborhood had a kind heart, and reached out to our rescue to take them in. After the Wright-Way Rescue Transport Team picked them up, they spent the last month at our Admissions & Medical Services Campus receiving their vaccinations and getting ready for adoption.

They are now ready for adoption in Morton Grove. These brothers are incredibly friendly to all the people they meet! They are hoping to meet their families soon. Thank you for all of your support in our life-saving efforts! 🐾
