Nine Puppies

Wright-Way Rescue was asked to save nine puppies that had just been born at a vet clinic in Southern IL. Their mom was brought to this clinic for a spay surgery.

We were told that the owners knew she was pregnant, but she ended up being further along than they thought.

The owners refused to bring the puppies home with mom, so the clinic reached out for help with a deadline of 5pm the day of. Our foster network really pulled through and made their rescue possible. Thank you for saving lives with us!

YOUR GENEROSITY SAVED CRAIGER'S LIFE!!!

He was found as a small puppy on the side of the road. He was brought to animal control in Oxford Mississippi where he waited over two hundred days for adoption or rescue. Craiger needed a miracle to beat the odds that seemed to be stacked against him. But then something incredible happened, YOU!

The Wright-Way Rescue community heard his story and jumped into action making his rescue a reality! We believe that MORE IS POSSIBLE for homeless animals throughout rural America, and YOU are the reason why. Thank you for saving lives with us.

Pictured here is Craiger on his way to Wright-Way Rescue last week! Here is what the shelter he came from had to say. "To say we are grateful to Wright-Way Rescue is an understatement. Craiger lived in the shelter for 226 days and he is finally getting a chance at a real life."

Wright-Way Rescue’s lifetime commitment- Nova🐾

Nova found her way back to Wright-Way Rescue when her family realized they could not provide her with the home they felt she deserved. This lovely lady still has a lot of love and life to give to a wonderful home or family.

Nova is looking for a secure household where she can spend her golden years. She is a great companion and would be perfect for a home. She enjoys being by your side, an evening cuddle, and a car ride that leads to any new adventures. Thank you for supporting us in our life-saving mission!

Finn and Lincoln

Saved from abandonment, these two adult male tabbies are looking for a home together.

Finn and Lincoln were left in the Morton Grove Adoption Center donation box with a note from their owner saying that they could no longer care for them. They are understandably scared and confused, but they are also sweet and loving cats.

Finn and Lincoln are best friends, and they would love to be adopted together. They would thrive in a home with a patient and loving family. Thanks to our donors and rescue support system, we are able to be the change for pets like Finn and Lincoln.

Darny from Texas

Darny was rescued from the Tyler, Texas area with the help of a WWR Registered Rescue Partner and is now ready for a home! We save homeless dogs and cats from Texas because it is the state that kills more dogs and cats simply because they do not have homes, than any other in our country. Despite this, there are many dedicated partners there working together to accomplish change.

Our foster volunteers allow us to expand our capacity and make room for dogs coming from Texas like Darny. Her foster family recently sent us a glowing report on Darny. “I've been fostering Darny for a week now. She is a sweet, patient, gentle, and friendly pup. We've been working on potty training and she hasn't had an accident in days! She's great with children, shy but gentle around other dogs, loves her belly rubs and does well in her crate. I don't leash her when she's in my backyard but when she is on a leash, she does a great job and does not pull. She's a great listener, so she's very trainable.”

Thanks to our wonderfully dedicated foster network, our rescue partners, and our rescue supporters, we are able to continue our life-saving efforts each and every day to be the change for pets, like Darny.
