Van Down!

🚨🚨🚨EMERGENCY - Rescue Van Down!🚨🚨🚨

Just after 6am this morning, Wright-Way Rescue's Transport Team driver was headed on a rescue mission just outside of Nashville, Illinois. Without warning, a large deer ran in front of the vehicle. The incident happened so quickly, and in such close proximity, that there was no way to avoid hitting the deer.

We are grateful to report that our driver is shaken but okay.  There were no animals on board yet at the time of the crash. All three airbags were deployed, and the front of the vehicle has significant damage. Our rescue van is completely out of commission and we expect it will need to be replaced entirely.

We need to quickly focus on moving forward in order to save the pets who will need Wright-Way Rescue's help next week. Just yesterday, this rescue vehicle enabled us to transport to safety the lives of sixty-three animals throughout Arkansas and Missouri who urgently needed our help. There are EIGHTY-SEVEN dogs and cats on the incoming list for next week from Mississippi and Louisiana. Many of these animals will lose their lives, and a chance at adoption, if we cannot reach them.

We are asking for your help. This will be a significant financial undertaking to replace the vehicle quickly so that Wright-Way Rescue can continue saving dogs and cats who need our help the most. Our rescue vehicle is truly the backbone of our work in rural America, traveling thousands of miles each week to reach animals in dire need of being rescued in time.

If you are inclined to assist our recovery from this accident and would like to donate towards our purchase of a replacement vehicle, any amount is sincerely appreciated.
