Details: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations two weeks prior to surgery; all cats must be current with rabies vaccine, or it must be administered on the day of surgery; all animals must be at least 4 months of age; all animals over 6 years of age must have pre-surgical blood work; all patients must be dropped off at 7:00 a.m. on day of surgery; heartworm positive dogs, dogs in heat, pregnant dogs, male cats, and pets with cryptorchidism are ineligible; dentals will not be offered; and all animals must be parasite free or the animal will be treated at the owner's expense. Dogs will receive a pre-surgical exam. If the animal is not healthy enough to undergo anesthesia, it will be sent home.
