12 surrendered puppies

These twelve, yes 12, puppies were an unwanted litter born in Leslie, Arkansas. Their owners could not care for them all so momma and puppies were surrendered to the County Humane Society. The owners wanted momma back, so the puppies are with us and mom will go back to her family after she is spayed.

Bubble and Sweets

Bubbles and sibling, Sweets, are part of a group of 15 cats and kittens that were saved from a rural area of Missouri. Their owner’s landlord was not happy about that many cats being in the house and was threatening eviction. He was going to change the locks on the house if they were not all removed by the next day.. They were in danger of being put outside to fend for themselves if a rescue could not be found. Our rescue partner in the area reached out to us, and they were soon safe in our care.

Panola County Pups

These little cuties were piled into a cardboard box and left at the local fire station in Panola County Mississippi. The firemen reached out to our rescue partner in the area to come and get them to keep them safe. They immediately contacted us and we picked them up on our Mississippi Rescue Run.

Sisters from Southern IL.

Electra and Elita were left with six siblings in a barn in Southern Illinois. When the owners of the property came out in the morning to care for their livestock, they were very surprised to see these adorable puppies nestled in with their momma pig. Six of the puppies have found their homes, but these two little girls are still waiting for their families to come get them.

Momma and puppies found

One evening a lady heard the sounds of puppies crying. She went outside and heard the sound of newborn puppies coming from under her porch. When she looked under the porch, she found this sweet momma dog giving birth. The temperatures were near freezing so she got them inside and immediately called our Rescue Partner for help. Momma is the sweetest dog and seemed happy to have help with her babies. She lets her rescuers handle her babies, she is totally housebroken, good with other dogs and cats, and loves attention from adults and children.

Mom and puppies just arrived at our Medical Campus and pups will all be ready for adoption soon. Because of you and your support, we can continue save the lives of those animals that have no hope.
