Vixie from Oxford, Mississippi

Vixie was picked up as a stray at the local Walmart in Oxford, Mississippi. Unfortunately, it has become the dumping ground for unwanted animals in the area. She is intelligent and an absolute sweetheart that loves to snuggle. Watching her personality come out after her ordeal is so rewarding. She can melt your heart with her “puppy dog eyes” and is going to be a wonderful family member.

Our team works hard to rescue animals at risk of euthanasia simply because they do not have a home in rural parts of our country. We are so grateful for the role you play in supporting our mission. Thank you for contributing to Wright-Way Rescue through your donations, fostering, volunteering, or sharing our message.

32 dogs taken in from Missouri breeder

Chloe, Claire, Claude, Jet, Porsche, and Winchester are six of the thirty-two dogs we took in from Missouri breeders that were shutting down. While we are happy that the new laws and regulations are finally having an effect on this cruel industry, puppy mill adults that have spent their lives as nothing more than sources of income only have two options when they are no longer profitable to the owners. We were already full, but letting these dogs, who had never heard a kind word or felt a soft pet, be destroyed without ever knowing the love of a family, was not an option.

All of the dogs are older and have had no medical care. We knew their treatment was going to be costly, but we also knew that with YOUR help, we could save them. We are so grateful for the role you play in supporting our mission. Thank you for supporting Wright-Way Rescue through your donations, fostering, volunteering and sharing our message. 🐾

Pregnant mom found on rural road-Arkansas

This pregnant momma was found wandering the roads in rural Arkansas looking for a warm, safe place to have her babies. A Good Samaritan took her in, cared for her, and gave her a place to have her eleven babies. Mom and babies are not quite ready for the long ride to our Admissions and Medical Campus, but they will be arriving soon and be ready for adoption just in time to be someone’s Valentine.

Two female strays found under a porch

Two female strays had taken up residence under the porch of a two room shed where a family lived with their male dog. They believe their dog is the father of all of the puppies, but they do not know which puppies belong to which momma since they share in the care of all fifteen. The landlord of the property contacted our Rescue Partner in the area asking for help finding placement for the puppies. They agreed on the condition that they would be allowed to spay both of the mother dogs and neuter the male dog on the property.

The No Mom Left Behind program has been a part of Wright-Way Rescue since we began more than 18 years ago. When Wright-Way commits to a litter of puppies, the mother dog is guaranteed a free spay surgery or admission to our adoption program. No Mom Left Behind saves thousands of lives every year.

Please consider supporting this program that brings help and hope to so many.

Pregnant mom, from Corning Arkansas

Our rescue partner in Corning, Arkansas pulled a very pregnant dog from a local animal control. She was evidently in distress and needed an emergency C-section. She was immediately taken to their veterinarian who was able to save three of her puppies. They have all been in foster care in Arkansas until they were old enough to be transported to us this coming week.

Momma was spayed and will be going to her home there, but with so many unwanted puppies in that area, they have asked us to help the babies find loving homes, safe homes with our amazing adopters.

Help us give them the second chance they deserve!
