His life began in Marshall, Arkansas. His original owners were a caring family who did not have the funds to spay their dog, and the result was a litter of eight adorable American Bulldog mix puppies, including Yogi. They raised the puppies to the best of their ability and, when they were old enough, tried to give them away for free, which does not always end well.

Because Yogi was born in a rural area with such high pet overpopulation, his family was not successful in finding anyone willing to take him. Luckily, they then reached out to a Wright-Way Rescue Partner for help. That’s when things started looking up for the entire family! The litter of eight puppies, including Yogi, were transported from Arkansas to Wright-Way Rescue. The momma dog was spayed and remained with the family who loved her.

She was homeless as a young puppy in Mississippi. We accepted her into our program and she was transported out of a rural area experiencing severe pet overpopulation to our Admissions & Medical Services Campus. Here she received medical care for severe intestinal parasites that she had been suffering from.

Because of Wright-Way Rescue’s on-site veterinary program, we are able to provide immediate expert medical care to all the animals in our program. Your support truly changes the lives of homeless pets like Kat who need us most. Kat is now a healthy, happy girl ready to take on the world with you by her side.

Paige and her eight siblings were found hiding underneath a fallen tree at the edge of a wooded area. It was clear to see that they were terrified, starving, and had been abandoned for some time. Wright-Way Rescue did not hesitate to say “YES” to taking the pups into our care.

Page and her siblings were transported to the safety of our rescue where they received the love and attention they so desperately needed. All of her siblings have been placed into loving adoptive or foster homes, but she is still waiting to find hers.🐾

Pixie and Posy are two of the most enchanting and magical pups you'll ever encounter! These sweet girls, named after the mythical fairies said to dwell in forests and fields, are yearning to find a family to call their own.

Recently, Pixie and Posy had a delightful visit to Lambs Farm, where their sweet disposition, calmness, and good-natured personalities sparkled brightly. Pixie and Posy are at the Morton Grove Adoption Center and are eager to find their forever homes.
