Pregnant momma dog dumped by Ash Flat, Arkansas

This momma dog was dumped near Ash Flat, Arkansas while she was still pregnant and very close to having her puppies. She found her way to a friendly house where the people took her in, kept her safe and warm, and cared for her and her babies for as long as they could. They had two dogs of their own and could not afford to feed all of the new little mouths, so they reached out to our Rescue Partner in the area. Mom and pups were very hungry when they were picked up, but otherwise in good health.

They are arriving soon at our Admissions and Medical Services Campus in Murphysboro and would love a local foster while they get ready for their homes.
