Please help us welcome CINDY, OUR NEW OPERATIONS MANAGER, to THE team!

What do you do at Wright-Way Rescue?

As the Operations Manager, it is my job to oversee all of the functions of the Morton Grove Adoption Center branch of Wright-Way Rescue.  I am responsible for making sure all of the animals are being cared for properly and that all employee relations, adoptions, programs, partnerships and customer service matters are being handled impeccably.I am also responsible for the functions of our Wright-Way Rescue Veterinary Clinic and the services that it offers.

It is my goal as the new Operations Manager to expand and improve on many of the programs already in place and to implement new ideas, so that Wright-Way Rescue can exceed its already stellar reputation and become a household name synonymous with excellence in the field of animal rescue.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

I would be either yellow or blue, since these are the colors that dogs can see best.

What do you love about working with animals?

I love that it is never boring.  Every single day is different and filled with new challenges, joys, sorrows and triumphs.  I love that there is a passion and importance behind my work and that the reason I get up every morning is reflected in the fuzzy faces behind every kennel door.  I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything else.

If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?

An eagle because they have no natural enemies and get to fly so high.

Where can we find you in your free time?

I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can outside when the weather is nice. I also spend a lot of time watching nature documentaries.
