Parties at Wright-Way Rescue

Groups of all ages are invited and encouraged to be a Party Animal and share a special day with the animals at Wright-Way Rescue!

Our Party Animal encounter will make great memories for any occasion, and you will leave knowing that you supported animals in need while having a waggin’ good time!


Wright-Way Rescue Party animal Experience — $450

  • One Hour Private Animal Encounter

  • Party Experience for up to 12 people

  • Naming opportunity for one incoming shelter pet

  • Children can “adopt” a stuffed animal to take home


A typical party goes like this..

Your guests arrive and are brought to a private room.

Puppies/dogs come to this party room for an interactive visit.

If we have cats/kittens in the building, you can also go to the cat room to visit with them.

During this time, the guest of honor will have the special honor of naming an incoming shelter animal. He or she can later track this pet's adoption progress online!

Children have the opportunity to “adopt” a stuffed animal, make a collar/leash, pick a blanket, and decorate its carrier.

When are Party Animal Encounters held at Wright-Way Rescue?

Party Animal Encounters may be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, 5:30-6:30pm.

Why should I host a Party Animal Encounter?

These experiences at Wright-Way Rescue provide a fun and meaningful experience that are easy to plan. You are free to leave with the knowledge that you have provided your guests with an absolutely unforgettable memory and that you supported the animals at Wright-Way Rescue at the same time!

Celebrations of all kinds at Wright-Way give us the opportunity to show our friends and family the power one person has to create significant change for animals.

Can our guests bring things for the dogs or cats?

Absolutely! We encourage all in attendance to bring a donation for our homeless animals. 

What is Wright-Way Rescue’s cancellation policy for Party Animal Encounters?

Wright-Way Rescue adheres to a no-refund cancellation policy since we are reserving the date for your encounter.  

How early can we arrive on the day of our Encounter?

You may arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of your encounter to greet your guests. 

What happens if the weather is bad?

Wright-Way Rescue is a rain or shine venue. Encounters will take place regardless of weather, unless conditions are extremely severe. In this case, we would be happy to work with you to reschedule your Party Animal Encounter.

Can I bring my own food?

To get the most animal time possible, it is best not to bring food in.  Most groups eat before or after coming to the shelter.  However, our party crew is flexible and will accommodate requests if possible.

What is the minimum and maximum number of guests for a Party Animal Encounter?

There is no minimum number of party guests; however, the maximum is 12 guests. If guests are minors, we require one chaperone per six children.

Will there be a staff member in the party room during my party?

Yes. There will be 2-3 volunteers present in the party room during the entirety of your party. They are happy to answer any questions about Wright-Way Rescue and our mission.

Can I bring music to my party?

Yes! We simply ask you to keep in mind that the volume will need to be kept so that the music cannot be heard outside the party room.
